In the recent past Thailand has emerged as one of those South Asian destinations that has become a tourist magnet. Thailand attracts tourists from all across the globe. Its vibrant culture, beautiful pristine white sandy beaches and tons of activities makes it an ideal tourist destination. The fact that Thailand is has one of the lowest costs of living and even the most luxury hotels are very reasonably priced makes it even more popular amongst budget travelers.
From the white sandy beaches in the central Thailand to the mountainous villages up in the north, Thailand has a lot to offer to its visitors. Despite the fact that it has hundreds of islands and even more beaches, each one of the Thai beaches has something unique and exclusive to offer. However, most Thai islands and beaches require you to either take a flight from Bangkok to land there or schedule an exhaustive by road journey which in most cases can exceed 24 hours. If you are in the Thai capital for a shorter period of time and do not want to go through the hassle of flying, Pattaya is the perfect place to catch a glimpse of one of the most happening beaches in the world.

Pattaya is a well developed beach that is situated close to Bangkok and is reachable at only a drive of less than 2 hours.  Initially Pattaya gained its popularity among honeymooners and bachelor travelers and had somewhat notorious reputation for being the sex center of the country. However, over the years more and more activities have been developed in the vicinity that attracts families including kids to Pattaya. If you are planning to head to Pattaya and are looking for some nice Pattaya tours here are 5 things that you will find interesting.

1. The Pattaya Walking Street A paradise for party animals, The Pattaya walking street has been aptly named given the fact that motor vehicles are not allowed on this street after 6:00 P.M. This 500 meter stretch is situated towards the tail end of the Pattaya Beach and is the most happening street that exists in Thailand. Pattaya walking street, which is largely deserted during the day, suddenly comes to life in the evening when both sides of the street lit up and music goes off from the heavy duty speakers inside the many bars and night clubs that dot the street.

2. The Tiffany's Cabaret Show The show takes place in the grand theatre where you can enjoy some of the most spectacular performances that are a reflection of Thailand's dynamic mix of ethnicities. From dazzling ball gowns to skimpy bikinis, from Bollywood dance numbers to the more traditional Korean and Chinese dances, you will find a touch of everything in this show.

3. The Cartoon Network Amazon Waterpark If you are travelling to Thailand along with kids who are least interested in exploring the Walking Street or enjoying the Cabaret, this is the place to be. Pattaya is home to a wide range of water parks to choose from, but this particular waterpark attracts the most attention for being the world's first cartoon network themed water park.
