Yes, I admit that I love London. Not that kind of love that is displayed on mugs and T-shirts, but the nurturing type, that turns a bad day into a good one by simply remembering a piece of grass from a natural park or the scent of a black tulip. You know what I am talking about, as each one of us tends to connect with its visited countries and cities through emotions and that is ok, as we are humans. London is definitely on my feelings meter and the best day ever was spent right after my arrival on Heathrow Airport.

Do you know what you are putting on (and in) your body?
The beauty business relies on cleverly crafted marketing campaigns that convince consumers that any problem can be fixed with the right product. Limp and fine hair can be voluminous, wrinkles can fade, lips are kissably soft and acne will forever disappear. As each product fails, consumers purchase others without question. Bathroom cabinets are often stocked full with the latest beauty products that are slathered onto the skin every day. However, consumers don't know that many chemicals found in these products can be readily absorbed by the skin, traveling in body through the bloodstream. In fact, US researchers report that one in eight of the 82,000 ingredients used in personal care products are industrial chemicals, including carcinogens, pesticides, reproductive toxins and hormone disrupters. These chemicals are applied and absorbed by your skin every single day.

In October of 2013, while roaming around Europe for the better part of nearly 8-months, I found myself in a rental car, traveling around the beautiful country of Scotland. I once visited over a year before, but I wasn't able to rent a car and roam around the wild Highlands at the time. I was determined to see all that the Highlands had to offer, and that included (at the time, for me, at least) the Isle of Skye in northwest Scotland. One of the most amazing aspects of this part of the trip was just how passionately the sun and the weather scalped the earth and the clouds, and it was nothing short of spectacular – especially when you consider the way the sun paints the landscape of the earth here. I don't know if that's just how it is in Scotland, or not, but almost every photograph was transformed to the next level – I couldn't take a bad snap even. Just like the photograph above – which was taken in the first part of the Isle of Skye – my entire trip in the Highlands and through the Isle of Skye was just as magical looking! I can't wait to make my way back again.

Packing your bags for an upcoming flight can be one of the most stressful, chaotic, and uncertain experiences of your trip. While there are many obvious items that are better not packed, there are also several items that you may not have known about, but are actually prohibited items. Sure, you have the obvious, right? You simply don't try and fly with any weapons, guns, knifes, or other items that can be viewed as such. But did you know that it's against the rules to fly with lighter fuel? Or what about animals? Surely there are ways to take certain items, but most of the time, if you're not absolutely sure that you can bring something, you're best bet is to probably just leave it behind.

The house was built from 1889 to 1895, by architect's Richard Morris Hunt and Frederick Law Olmsted, for the exceptionally wealthy Vanderbilt family. The Biltmore Estate is a large private estate and tourist attraction, which is the largest privately owned house in the United States. It sits today at 178,926 square feet (or 16,662.8m sq.), with an extravagant 250 rooms.
