For years… no decades, pretty much everything to do with cannabis / marijuana had been outlawed, looked down on, and thought to be criminal by majority. Even the very mention of the plant was shunned by many. Thankfully, since the debut of the internet, saner heads have prevailed, clearing up the misinformation and laying out the truth for all to see, ultimately ending majority of the propaganda and smear campaigns that have misinformed millions across the globe. And perhaps no country has been more effected than the people of the United States. Where it was once thought that cannabis was among the most harmful of drugs, reported to cause brain damage, life ending or altering decisions, among other obscure defects, it’s now becoming common knowledge that the cannabis plant is indeed useful for a range of medicinal applications*.
The day is near, and while it’s crunch time with a little bit of chaos thrown in, as to be expected, my beard and moustache are ready for the big day. But it wasn’t always like that. For years, I’ve struggled with growing out a full, well-manicured beard, because of a few thinner patches on my cheeks and my incessant need to trim my moustache prematurely. It gets difficult to eat when it hangs over your top lip, ya know?
Beard growing can be a trying experience for a lot of men, because when you’re first starting out, large unseemly patches tend to linger, while itchiness and wild growth patterns run amok on your face. But the good news is, with enough time and patience, just about anybody can grow a beard. How? Well, with proper technique…
Cannabis has the world reeling with possibilities. Some folks hate it, usually due to misconceptions and lack of information, or the simple act of honoring propaganda that had once put one of the world’s most healing plants in the same category as life-ruining narcotics. But the truth is that cannabis, or marijuana, is indeed packed full of healing properties for a versatile style of applications. Say you or someone you know suffers from epilepsy or seizures, a certain cannabinoid or molecule within cannabis can treat and reduce the harmful symptoms, ultimately allowing them to lead normal, healthy lives.
Minimalism is having its time in the sun. It’s one of the many quirks of millennials, who are reported as the generation that prefers experiences over possessions. It’s become increasingly trendy to spend hard-earned money not on building up physical worth, but by stuffing Instagram feeds with real, memorable experiences.
No matter whether you’re recording music at home on your laptop or if you’re working with professionals in a high end audio studio, the same sentiment is true. Simply, put: the headphones matter. When you’re immersed in the total sound of what you’re creating, you hear it all, and if you’re rather talented then you probably get into your flow when producing with a quality reference grade pair of studio headphones.
