Review: Wohven’s Monthly Shirt & Sock Subscription

Subscription services have become a popular style of commerce since online shopping has taken off, and now there’s even meat of the month, beer clubs, record of the month subscriptions and the list goes on. I’ve worked with a few of these services and there is something fun that comes with a mystery package that comes every month. You look forward to it every month and when the package comes, you rip it open before anything else in your mail.

Wohven has accomplished the status as one of the leading monthly subscription t-shirt services, because they specialize in dynamic, minimalist shirt designs that are unique each month, and are typically designed with nature and trees, or elements like water and fire, and animals like buffalo or something as simple as a feather. Each month a different artist showcases their work through Wohven’s many services, where they also offer creative boxers and socks, too.

Then I began to travel, I toured the cities in lands from where my ancestors had come from, and yet, something in me craved for more, desired something real. It wasn’t until I encountered the unspoiled forests and mountains of Colorado and Wyoming for me to feel a deep connection and a power, and belonging like nowhere else prior.

The football craze is real in the United States, as many regions around the country eat, breathe, and sleep college football, and while the professional teams of the NFL garner plenty of excitement, the craziest fans are college football fans. Blame it on local pride or Alumni status, the truth is that what makes Americans go wild is the dynamics of student athletes competing and striving their hardest to make a play. In the NFL, it’s widely commented that the athlete’s don’t play with the same fire and inspiration, since they’re paid millions of dollars to be there, something changes in them, but in college athletics, it’s that underdog story that lights the fire of fandom all across the 50 states.
