Holiday Gift Guide 2019: featuring Maison Lambert, Pelican, Kyocera, Catalyst, HempFusion11/21/2019 It’s that time of year again where the weather turns frigid, the plant life turns brown and fades back into the earth, and the magic within our culture comes alive with lights, gift giving, feast having and general merriment. ![]() In the world of natural medicine, new and exciting new options seem to crop up faster than the season change. One question always lingers: How do you know what you’re buying is safe, and the real deal? To be honest, you don’t. But you can make smarter buying decisions by taking research into your own hands. CBD is the latest craze and unfortunately for some, not all CBD is created equal and some people are finding that out the hard way. CBD should be gentle, causing little if any side effects. But not all CBD is the same. CBD or cannabidiol is the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis sativa, which will not get you high, but is showing to have many positive medicinal properties. Since full spectrum CBD is the most medicinal, packing the strongest punch, this version of CBD carries a lot of worries for people who worry that their employers will fire them if a drug test were to be required. The reason is because full spectrum indicates that the other parts of the plant are in the extract oil as well, like the infamous THC, which is the compound that creates the high that has fueled the stigma all these years. Without full spectrum, you take out the other cannabinoids (like CBG, CBN, and THC), as well as plant terpenes, omegas, and other medicinal properties. I’ve traveled the world, toured over 25 countries, and photographed some of the world’s finest and most beautiful landscapes, and I will be the first to tell you that timing is as important as light. Hell, sometimes, timing the light is the most important thing, but with every situation the details matter most.
