That’s the endearing slogan of the Famous Hostels group, which claims to have pinpointed all of the best hostels around Europe. Their service allows you to book a number of hostels strewn throughout the continent. The first time I came in contact with Famous Hostels was when I stayed at Kabul Backpackers Hostel in Barcelona, Spain. The walls were plastered with giant posts and logos and maps showing other great hostels in majority of the other countries of Europe. It made me curious as to who decided this hostel was worthy of being promoted as ‘famous,’ but after one night at Kabul Backpackers, I understood why it was chosen by the FH network. It was fun and chaotic, with so many people scrambling around, doing various activities, while all having one thing in common – the want to have a good time. After my stay, I decided to snag a brochure and every time I decided to book a hostel in a new country, I double checked Famous Hostels list to see if I could find another hostel with as much character and atmosphere.
When traveling your smartphone is going to be your new best friend. It's important to take the right phone with you, and there's a huge range at Dial-A-Phone.co.uk. It doesn't matter if you’re heading to a five star all inclusive this year, or traveling around on a shoestring budget, there is going to be applications to help make your trip amazing.
When I’m traveling, there are a few guilty pleasures that I typically can’t stop myself from indulging in. The funny thing for me is that the Pepsi video above shows a bit of both for me. Anywhere you go in the world, whether it’s Hollywood, Rio or Barcelona, there are street performers everywhere, especially in the areas loaded with tourists. No matter what the trick, the gag, the show or the scam, I always find myself stopping, staying put and watching for a long while. Each and every time, there’s something new to try and discover. With that said, can you guess how this bloke did that trick with the ice cubes?
Oh right, and I mentioned that I have a few guilty pleasures – one of them is indulging with something familiar. It’s nice to relax with an ice cold beverage from time to time. Especially since nearly all things are different and unfamiliar when traveling the world, so a little familiar is nice and can help me relax and recharge, ready to take on the next task or challenge.

Passing through customs when entering or leaving a country can make anyone a bit nervous. I often find myself second guessing my belongings and documents, with a little nervous shake from time to time. But there's really nothing to worry about as long as you have the right documents, aren't on the top 100 wanted criminals list, and are NOT carrying one of these illegal and/or odd items with you:
I just returned from a 3 day stint in the region of Flanders in Belgium, and I must say it's a wonderful place – one of my favorites! I will always remember the never-ending flow of the beer, the sweet smell of the waffles and the gluttony I experienced from the delicious chocolates. But besides the wonderful treats and drinks, Belgium is full of intriguing history, full of ancient castles, villages and monasteries – and even though it's filled with plenty to do, see and eat, the people make the place. As you can tell by the video above, the people of Flanders have a fun sense of humour... Which brings me to one of their ultimate loves, which is cycling. No matter where you go in Belgium (and even the Netherlands), you see people riding bicycles everywhere, locals and tourists alike. Much of the beautiful countryside is paved with safe paths, and are rarely empty – for such is the love of the people of Flanders and their cycling. They hold an annual event called the Retro Ronde, where the riders wear costumes and have the time of their lives – saying that "moustaches are optional."

People who have never been on a cruise holiday honestly do not know what they are missing. In the first place there is simply no other type of holiday that can compare with the convenience of cruising. One could literally see the world while having to pack and unpack only once. It’s possible to experience the vast majority of the world’s greatest sights and sounds and still come back every night to the comfort and warmth of the same familiar cabin.
