From the Marker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, I write… For the truest form of love for American heritage, one must explore the backcountry roads and small towns of the Midwest. Of all of the spirits celebrated around the nation (and even the world), bourbon is the only creation that is native to the USA. Its burst of vanilla and caramel tones compliment the warm lasting finish like no other spirit in the world. Irish whiskey has long been a favorite of mine, but a very close second is Kentucky bourbon – there’s just something oh, so grand about the whole experience.
When people travel to the Caribbean, most of the time they’re trying to escape frigid temperatures and an excess of white precipitation. So, when holiday-goers end up on a Caribbean island, majority of international travelers ascend upon the infamous resorts and high-rise hotel areas, and Aruba is no different.
The Giant’s Causeway of Northern Ireland makes the ‘must see’ list of millions of visitors each year, and no matter if it marks your bucket list or not, it’s still one of the most impressive scenes to witness in the United Kingdom.
