Ditch the Chemicals and Try All-Natural: featuring ChickenPoop

In a world where capitalism has run amok and a swelling population has pushed our resources to the brink, many of our everyday toiletry and body care products are made with harmful chemicals, cheap fillers, and toxin-rich mystery substances. But hope is not lost, as there are many companies that focus on maintaining a high standard of quality within their wears. I, myself, like to try making my own substitutes, but if time and convenience are important for you, then might I suggest checking out ChickenPoop. No, it’s not a literal name, and none of their products contain any poop whatsoever, but they are a country favorite where I’m from in Ohio, and for good reason.

Chicken Poop is a Kansas company that makes all natural body care products and are most famous for their flagship ChickenPoop lip moisturizer, which is a high quality, all-natural lip balm that has one of the most intoxicating scents on the market.

The original Chicken Poop is made with avocado oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, and is scented with lavender and sweet orange. It is an uplifting smell that stays with me throughout the day, promoting calmness and a smile every time I smell it. It’s been my goto for a few years now, and so I thought it would be interesting to reach out to the company to try out some of their other products.

They were kind enough to send over a sampling of their original ChickenPoop lip balm, as well as their Mint lip balm, Coconut lip balm, and La Chick Poo Poo, which is named as such because it is their ‘fancy’ ChickenPoop that adds a shimmer to the lips, making it a perfect addition for whomever prefers toning their lips with all-natural makeup. The La Chick Poo Poo comes in three color shades, too.

Additionally, they make something called Kill It Dead, which is a dedicated de-funkifier, or rather an all-natural and vegan deodorant that does not contain aluminum or parabens. It is a combination of tea tree oil and witch hazel, which works pretty well at attacking body odors naturally. Each bottle sold gives a percentage of sales to the Kirk Rundstrom Cancer Fund. Another interesting product of theirs is the Good Gravey Lotion Solid, which is a non-messy, moisturizing puck that is good for hands and body, which smells awesome. It is made of beeswax, rice bran oil (which provides anti-oxidants and is a good source of vitamin e), and lavender essential oil.
