In October of 2013, while roaming around Europe for the better part of nearly 8-months, I found myself in a rental car, traveling around the beautiful country of Scotland. I once visited over a year before, but I wasn't able to rent a car and roam around the wild Highlands at the time. I was determined to see all that the Highlands had to offer, and that included (at the time, for me, at least) the Isle of Skye in northwest Scotland. One of the most amazing aspects of this part of the trip was just how passionately the sun and the weather scalped the earth and the clouds, and it was nothing short of spectacular – especially when you consider the way the sun paints the landscape of the earth here. I don't know if that's just how it is in Scotland, or not, but almost every photograph was transformed to the next level – I couldn't take a bad snap even. Just like the photograph above – which was taken in the first part of the Isle of Skye – my entire trip in the Highlands and through the Isle of Skye was just as magical looking! I can't wait to make my way back again. *Offer ends when the next Friday's Fine Art Feature image is published.
