KLM does it again

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines did it again!
KLM is always on top of it. They're among the most creative, innovative and passionate companies in travel today. I last updated about KLM for their amazing promotion, where they wanted to share the amazing event of experiencing the Last Frontier, by having patrons guess where their weather balloon would land after venturing near space. The winner received a once in a lifetime trip into space – now that's cool! I have to say I'm quite jealous of the winner of that one. While space travel may frighten and make others nervous, I think it would be one of the most brilliant experiences a person can have – EVER! Although, I do wonder if space would be a bit lackluster after having the chance to experience it – sort of like ruining the surprise? What do you think? Ah, right... I'm getting off subject here – so, I digress...
This time around, on October 2nd, KLM teamed up with Disney and basically threw a party with a massive airplane and 300 children. They spared no expensive, as you can see in the video above. Disney's part was letting the children sit back and relax on the giant aircraft, while watching a very rare pre-screening of their new movie, Planes. From what I've heard, it was a huge success, and the kids were ecstatic!

Now THAT's cool! Well done, KLM. I love companies who think out of the box and will definitely promote them. Sad I missed the space giveaway. I would've been first in line. Thinking of ways I can sneak onto Virgin Galactic myself. :)

I do too! I think there is a lot to say about companies that help the community as well as others around the world. I would have loved to be there, taking pictures of the children's faces during the whole party! I will always support KLM, and any other company that supports such great charities.

Having flown to Capetown and back with KLM I wouldn't recommend them . We were jammed in like herring in a Barrel .not allowed movement or to get out of the plane when refueled at Johannesburg .
The staff were extremely rude . Shchipol airport waiting area couldn't take all the passengers scheduled for the fight and many had to stand in the corridors outside , no thanks KLM AND ITS CATTLE TRUCK AEROPLANES

I have flown 360,000 airmiles with KLM as customer Liaison for the UK and Europe , and have found the service and support from the cabin staff remarkable . When flights were grounded due to bad weather, I was put up in the best hotels . KLM tops

I am really sorry that you had a terrible experience with KLM. I haven't had any issue with them and hope to not have any, since I think very highly of them. Perhaps they were going through a rough patch or changing employees. Whatever the case may have been, I hope you don't have to experience anything like that ever again! Take care. :)

Cattle Truck? Sardine Can? How true...never fly with them again. Air France was brilliant until KLM took them over.

I am really sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with KLM. Once a negative experience is lived, it can be hard to wash the stench of a company out of your mouth. I have had some bad experiences throughout my life however, I haven't experienced any with KLM. I hope that you don't have to go through something like that again. Happy Holidays!
