New York is one of the most photographed cities in the world. With a vast array of popular landmarks from the Statue of Liberty to the yellow cabs, the city that never sleeps is definitely a bucket list worthy city. It is a photographers dream to spend time in New York City, with so many stunning locations, tall buildings and beautiful architecture; there is opportunity for great photographs on every street corner in the Big Apple.

Grand Central Station
Grand Central Station also known as Grand Central Terminal is one of the most visited New York landmarks. It is not only popular with commuters and travellers but visitors and tourists who come to the terminal to get photos of this beautiful station. It is a public space therefore you won’t need a train ticket to have access to the main terminal, which is why it is so popular with tourists who visit this famous historic terminal.

Times Square
One of the most popular and well-known locations in New York City, Times Square is the place to visit for a real feel of the buzz of New York. Be ready for lots of people, street performers and characters and bright billboards that light up the area like it is daytime, if you go at night time. Stand at the top of the red steps to get a shot of all the people and surrounding billboards to try capture the buzz and thrill of NYC. Why not try taking a time-lapse? Set up at the top of the stairs and let your camera roll and see just how crazy Times Square can get.

Empire State Building
One of the most iconic buildings in the world, you can’t visit New York without capturing a photo of this great building. Standing at 381 meters, it is difficult not to miss. This means you can get great photos of this building from a variety of different of locations across New York. Visitors can also go to the observatory on level 86 and 102, providing breath-taking 360 views of New York City and beyond. It will cost you to visit the observatory deck but it is an experience worth doing when you’re visiting this beautiful city.
