Essential oils are oil concentrates that are derived from plants, flowers, herbs, trees, roots and other organic living materials, which when inhaled via aromatherapy, or used topically, can heal*, soothe ailments and can assist in a myriad of issues. They can be used in a variety of ways, from aromatherapy to oil blends, as well as salves and other botanical applications. For me, personally, I love to blend high quality oils into medicinal salves, beard oils and balms, muscle relief salves, and other recipes that can replace my store bought botanicals and toiletries.
For the past year, I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain, neck strains, headaches and anxiety, and while changes in my life, perspective, and state of mind are all obvious considerations, but I have also started experimenting with implementing CBD into my daily diet and routine. And the results have been better than I originally had expected. Let me explain…
Do you have an awesome hiking trip in a gorgeous area of the world fast approaching? Or are you heading back to school soon? Either way, Patagonia has you covered with their latest hybrid pack that’s meant for organizing your day, so be it day trips, work or school, the new Arbor Grande 28L pack may be something to look into. Let’s break it down…
Patagonia is famous for its wide range of sports packs, outdoor gear, clothing and more, and more recently they’ve focused on providing quality options for everyday use. Their latest line of packs includes the Arbor Grande, which is a 28 liter pack, designed for the modern digital world as it contains a laptop sleeve that fits most 15” laptops, as well as other features that I will delve into shortly. My first impression of the Arbor Grande 28L pack is that it’s very well made, with strong fabrics and seams, while the aesthetic is simple, yet well thought out.
Everyday it seems like there’s a new invention that redefines how we see and interact with our world, especially now-a-days in the digital world. It can feel almost overwhelming by how fast we humans are advancing in our technological understanding and skill, and that comes out in our latest tech inventions. When I was in high school, I learned a coding language that was obsolete a year later, and that trend has not stopped, and has only ramped up.
We all look forward to that time of the year when we can catch a break from the busy working schedules. Even though working gives us a sense of identity, it is tiring. That is why you should have a program for how you should spend your holiday to make it fun and relaxing.
In today’s landscape, more and more of the natural areas of our country and world are shrinking, leaving less opportunity for younger generations to experience the beauty of Nature and to forge the connection, or reconnection, of the human spirit to the force that created it. It’s so bad that the current administration has moved away from tourism of public lands and has cut ties with the rangers who once protected these lands, and are now opening them up for deforestation, oil and fracking. So the time is now to experience what is left before it’s all gone.
