With new minds, a changing world is inevitable. With newly changed minds, a movement is upon us. And that is no truer than in the world of cannabis, because with a new understanding comes new legalization, which opens up an exciting new world of new ideas, inventions and new ways of healing*. Cannabis has shown results in easing chronic pain, assisting with muscle spasms, helping to suppress seizures, while treating glaucoma, stopping the spreading of some cancers, decrease anxiety, slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, lower inflammation, among countless other treatments and applications. But what is it about the plant that has such a powerful effect on adverse human conditions?

Well, there are several cannabanoids, or compounds within the plant and flowers that have powerful effects on us. The most famous may be THC, the psychotropic molecule that gets you high, but also assists in a variety of conditions, which is unfortunately still illegal in many places around the world. The second most evident cannabinoid is CBD, which does not get you high, but does offer some calming effects, while also assisting with majority of the previously mentioned conditions, because it binds so well with our endocannabinoid system that it seems almost made specifically for humans. CBD has been shown to fight cancer cels, relieve nausea, treat seizures and other neurological disorders, while also acting as an antipsychotic, pain reliever, and inflammation reducer for starters. It’s quite literally being held as a miracle compound

Both of these compounds are found in cannabis, in higher and lower degrees, depending on the strain, and process of extraction. And both, THC and CBD, can be inhaled through a vaporizer, which helps to limit the adverse effects of smoking the herb. Vaporizing has become a mainstay among the youth, be it for nicotine and cigarette replacement, or simply for the flavors, like with hookah, but instead there are options available that have no nicotine.

One of the most exciting new cannabis-related inventions is the Hydrology9 vaporizer by Cloudious9, which is among the most unique vaporizers that I’ve ever seen. What’s so unique is not only that it looks quite space age, but that it works different than any other vaporizer, in that it bridges the gap between high tech vaporizer and water pipe. It’s made of space grade anodized aluminum alloy, with a borosilicate glass mouthpiece. So for as cool as it looks, it feels just as good, being heavy enough that you can feel the quality of the craftsmanship, yet also feel confident in its ability. The Hydrology9 comes with a 2000mAh battery that charges to full in 2-3 hours, and is rated toast about 15 sessions, while only taking 60 seconds to reach optimal heat. The heating chamber is made of food grade porcelain,

To work this vaporizer, you simply unscrew the top chamber, fill the water chamber to 70% then vil the bottom heating chamber with herb, then reassemble and turn on. And then it won’t be long before you will be experiencing the clean, crisp taste of the herb, which depending on what compound and strain you’ve chosen, you will either feel high or simply calm. What’s so unique about the Hydrology9 is its liquid filtration system, because it keeps the vapor clean, crisp, and powerful. Overall, the Hydrology9 is such a cool vaporizer, for its unique design as much as its unique functionality. It’s built strong, designed sleek, and works better than promised. I’m a big fan.
