For me, I’ve tested several of the world’s best brands over the years and have come to respect Kyocera, among others, and have incorporated a few of their knives into my kitchen. For example, my latest addition is the 6” Premier Elite Chef’s Santoku, or more simply known as a damn good chef’s knife. Kyocera’s ceramic blades fantastic. The blade is crafted with superior strength and sharpness and the Pakka wood handle feels great, while offering optimum control.
The 6” Premier Elite chef knife is ideal for everyday slicing of boneless meats, fruits, veggies, and for most prep. What I love about Kyocera is that the blade comes ready to use, with a beautiful look and feel, and tends to hold its edge longer than any cutlery I’ve worked with. The blade will never rust, or alter the smell or taste of the food, which is very important for longevity of any kitchen. It’s design boasts a perfect balance, made of high grade materials that provide the user with a very long lasting, high end chef’s knife.
