Where to have a wild break from reality

There’s travel destinations and there’s tourist destinations. Some destinations are authentic, untouched and amazing experiences can be had, and then there are manmade destinations, built around tourism trade. Places like Costa del Sol in Spain or Myrtle Beach, USA provide visitors with faux cultural experiences, however these types of destinations tend to be some of the hottest spots for vacation-goers. It’s okay to just want to lounge a bit and be waited upon, from time to time... Though you won’t be receiving an authentic, life-changing experience, you can at least get away from the normal bustle and workday grind.
I thought it prudent (as I don’t travel this way very often, if ever) to showcase some of the more interesting and unique vacation hot spots around the world:

Las Vegas
Simply known as ‘Vegas,’ Las Vegas is the gambling, fine dining, theater show, and nightlife capital of the United States. It’s loaded with lavish casinos and themed hotels (like the MGM). It’s famed for its brilliant boardwalk, full of lights, glamour, and show. You can literally choose from any vice you crave, from partying, gambling, and sex.

Prague
Prague is Europe’s dark side based all in one location, full of hard-hitting clubs and a dangerous nightlife. You can find it all (literally) there, whether it’s alcohol, drugs, girls or other dark activities. The city is known for being a bit of a rough place, full of scammers and dark acts, but you can have a blast, as long as you watch yourself and keep your wits about you.

Ibiza
Ibiza is Spain’s lively little island off of its southern east coast. It’s famous for its all night ragers, and popular club scene. It’s typical to lounge and relax by day, then let loose by night, but look out for the teams of Brits on holiday.

Rio de Janeiro
Perhaps a bit more well-known for being a rough destination to visit than Prague, is Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro. This South American metropolis teams with the high-end lifestyle, and of course, the infamous slums. You can find anything you’re searching for in Rio, whether it’s parties, festivals, lounging on the beach or meeting some locals – for no matter what you do, Rio will not disappoint, as its people are amongst the most fun-having passionate people in all the world.
