Terms of Use (TOU) is an agreement between you and Eye & Pen (E&P) / Brandon Elijah Scott (BES) that allows you to use E&P services as long as you follow the TOS.

To use our services and content, you:

  • Must be at least 17 years old (with some limited exceptions)
  • May need to register with us to access and use some of our services and products
  • Must not initiate or participate in any activities on our services that are illegal, harmful, or interfere with anyone's use of our services, including the sending of e-mail or social media spam

If you post content on E&P’s website or social media accounts, you:

  • May post content that you create or have been given permission to post by the owner, is legal, and doesn't violate our TOS
  • Are responsible for content that you post to our services and assume all risks of posting personal information online
  • Continue to own the content but grant E&P a license to use and distribute your content
  • Understand that by posting a comment on a blog post, you are added to Brandon's Eye & Pen mailing list – which mails 1-2 times a month. You have the ability to unsubscribe at anytime!

The content on E&P websites, transmissions and social media accounts is:

  • Owned by us (unless where due credit is given or ownership is unknown or unrepresented) and may only be used as we specify
  • Only to be quoted, reposted, published or shared with the prior consent of E&P or BES. If any content, articles, photographs or quotes are found stolen or borrowed without permission, financial and legal action may result
  • For general information, discussion, and entertainment purposes only and we make no representations or guarantees about the truth, accuracy, or quality of any content
  • Not to be used in the replacement of legal, health, or personal advice in anyway, shape or form

If you purchase any of E&P’s products or services, you:

  • Must provide us with accurate billing information, which we will keep on file
  • Agree to pay all charges incurred on your account
  • Acknowledge that surcharges may apply to some services, all charges are nonrefundable, and we may change any of our paid services at any time
  • May cancel a paid service by submitting your request via email

You also agree that we:

  • Can change or end our services at any time without notice
  • Can place advertising, which supports our services, within web pages, emails and social media content
  • All transmissions on behalf of E&P or BES is not a digital or electronic signature and cannot be used to form, document, or authenticate a contract. E&P and its affiliates accept no liability arising in connection with any and all content or transmissions.

Income Statement

E&P/BES may receive financial support from donations, sponsors or advertisers, however all income is used to simply cover Brandon's travel and research, hosting costs, and to give back to its readers, via giveaways, imagery/stock purchases, etc.
